Caritas is committed to our crisis response efforts through helping at-risk communities prepare for environmental emergencies throughout Oceania. Better preparation can help to save lives in the event of a disaster by ensuring that supplies and aid are sent as quickly as possible where they are most needed.
In Fiji our partner the Social Enterprise Education Programme (SEEP) works to ensure vulnerable people have access to good hygiene and are able to safely maintain good hygiene practices both during and following an event such as a cyclone, or increased rate of COVID19 infections.
