The Caritas education team engages with Catholic school students nationwide, inspiring them to serve the most vulnerable through the lens of Catholic social teaching (CST).
By exploring the principles of CST, we empower young minds to understand the root causes of injustice and advocate for sustainable solutions. Our mission is focused on nurturing hearts and minds, putting love into action as we collectively champion social and ecological justice.

Collaborating with Schools Across New Zealand
Caritas partners with schools nationwide to educate, inspire and empower young people to respond to injustice in our world. Through our work, we nurture future leaders to take action, live out their Catholic faith, and serve those in need.
Our Education Team travels across Aotearoa, providing engaging resources, interactive in-person and virtual sessions, and hands-on support to help students and educators actively engage in global social and ecological justice. Grounded in a faith-based approach, we use Catholic social teaching principles as the driving force for action and reflection.
