Day of Prayer for Refugees and Migrants
Welcome to the Day of Prayer for Refugees and Migrants (DOPFRM) - an occasion of solemn reflection and prayer, emphasising our commitment to supporting individuals in search of refuge, safety, dignity, and opportunities.
On Sunday, 23 June, we commemorate the ‘Day of Prayer for Refugees and Migrants,’ a significant event in our church calendar prompting us to turn our focus towards those in need of sanctuary and a fresh start.
This year, our Caritas prayer resource is centered on those displaced by climate change. As stewards of God’s creation, we are called to stand together in solidarity and respond to this crisis with compassion and action, mirroring the love demonstrated by Christ.
Our resources are designed to raise awareness and understanding among our young people, providing them with a platform for prayerful response to this global challenge.
Join us as we unite in prayer and action, affirming our commitment to compassion and solidarity with our displaced brothers and sisters.
