Spring for a Well - For a Community
This gift goes towards the Caritas Hope Fund which is used to fund livelihood and life-changing programmes. We cannot survive without water for more than four days, yet readily accessible drinking water is still not available in many parts of the world. Waterborne disease is a major cause of illness and death. This gift can supply clean and safe drinking water to a community in need.

Case Study
Helping villages to have a safe and convenient water supply makes a big difference in people’s daily lives.
In vulnerable areas of Papua New Guinea, Caritas is working with communities to provide climate resilient water tanks and collection systems with taps and solar lighting for safe access at night. Ongoing management and maintenance of these systems will be overseen by community-led water committees, supporting the community in their new way of living.
