Stand in solidarity with Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria

The 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck north-west Syria and Türkiye (Turkey) has left thousands of people without shelter, food, and warmth, and taken more than 30,000 lives. 

Caritas Türkiye (Turkey) and Caritas Syria were providing assistance from the very beginning and the Caritas Internationalis Confederation is supporting and coordinating their efforts to assess needs and deliver assistance to those affected by this tragedy. The earthquake hit areas already in a difficult humanitarian situation and the harsh winter temperatures and the destruction or severe damage to structures – including several hospitals – and roads further complicates humanitarian operations. 

We are accepting donations through our emergency fund to support the efforts of Caritas Türkiye (Turkey), Syria and other affiliated organizations.
