Caritas Challenge Solo

“We can believe in the love of people that we have around us, and there we can find hope.” - Pope Francis

As the majority of New Zealanders face isolation and lockdown, Caritas has decided to launch a special Caritas Challenge event called CC Solo. Currently we may be apart but we can still do acts of solidarity together to benefit those who are the poorest and most vulnerable in our world - many who will be impacted the most by this crisis.

Complete an act of solidarity and share it with us so that we can inspire and motivate others to join in the fun and the momentum of positive difference!

During the months of April and May, Caritas will be also launching a special appeal to raise funds for those affected by the Covid-19 crisis. You may also choose to fundraise through your CC Solo event to be part of the solution to one of the greatest challenges of our time.

You could choose one of the traditional Caritas Challenge themes of Move It, Sweat It, Live It or Stop It. Or you could plan your own creative CC Solo activity that suits you and shows your solidarity. Don't forget to tag us in your photos either by tagging us directly or using the hashtag #CCSolo

All those taking part will have the chance to win a free Caritas Challenge t-shirt. We will be looking for the:

  • Most creative acts of solidarity
  • Best tik-toks
  • Best photos
  • Highest fundraising efforts

Have fun and let's challenge ourselves to do something solo that will be a great act of solidarity for those who need help the most.
