Social Justice Week 2017 workshops

Come join us as we explore how we can ‘weave bonds of belonging’ in our own communities! We are joining with local Church organisations to hold interactive workshops in Dunedin and Hamilton to reflect on disconnection and connection in our community.

As part of Social Justice Week 2017, we are joining with Church organisations in Dunedin and Hamilton to facilitate workshops to help people recognise disconnection in society and the local context, share ideas on how we can rebuild community, and discuss concrete actions we can take towards weaving bonds of belonging.

We will be reflecting on disconnection and connection in our community through the lens of Catholic social teaching.

We are joining with the Dunedin Faith and Service Council with input from Dunedin Catholic Social Services to facilitate this workshop.

We are joining with the Hamilton Diocese’s Social Justice Office and St Vincent de Paul to facilitate this workshop.
