Knowing our neighbours a Social Justice Week workshop - Auckland

Caritas and the Justice and Peace Commission of the Auckland Catholic Diocese will be hosting a Social Justice Week workshop titled, Knowing our neighbours. Described as "an evening of interesting speakers and lively debate," keynote speakers will be Caritas' Advocacy and Research Analyst, Cathy Bi and St Vincent de Paul Auckland's Del Soti.

When:  Wednesday 6 September, 7-9pm

The theme for Social Justice Week this year is, Weaving bonds of belonging: Knowing our neighbours. Topics for discussion at the workshop will include: 
•    Recognising disconnection in society and in our own neighbourhoods 
•    Sharing stories and examples of how in the light of Catholic social teaching we can rebuild community, and
•    Discussing concrete actions we can take to become a more caring people
